Who are we

Joint Association is a Social Promotion Association based in Milan. The association operates in the non-profit sector from more than 12 years and offers to young people international mobility and learning opportunities in non-formal contexts.

Joint Association in specialized in projects related to the non-formal education and the intercultural learning. It addresses to young people between 18 and 30 years old and follows pedagogical paths for high schools students and for the most weak sectors of the society such as disadvantaged young people.

The Association was founded in 2003 by a group of young people with common experiences and interests in the fields of sociology and pedagogy. In its headquarter, in Navigli zone, professionals and volunteers alternates and cooperates for the conception, planning and coordination of mobility and international volunteering projects promoted by the European Community. Joint operates jointly with partner bodies of Milan and the rest of Italy, with whom it organizes events, meetings and multicultural and multidisciplinary training projects.

Joint Association’s main activities are related to Erasmus+ Programme, created by the Directorate-General for Education and Culture of the European Commission, which aims at promoting the mobility opportunities and at enhancing the skills of young people, organizations and trainers. The European Voluntary Service (EVS), the European exchanges and the training courses are funded by Erasmus+:

it is the biggest public programme of Italy which offers learning opportunities through international mobility projects at an extremely reasonable cost and which is accessible to all the young people with no discriminations or access requirements.
